I completed this painting while I was trying hard to recover from a broken phase of my life, a time when I was filled with disappointment and had a hard time trusting in the Lord. 

I realized that I could only find relief and peace when I visited Jesus in the Blessed sacrament. I used to sit for hours just to have that peace of mind. It was during that time that I came to know about an art exhibition organized by our Archdiocese. The theme was ‘Love is the language’. I desperately wanted to shift my thoughts and focus on something positive so I entered my name for the exhibition. While pondering on the theme before the Blessed Sacrament, I imagined how God was lifting me from this hard phase and the love I felt from Him. I chose the Bible verse - 1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear” and titled the painting as Perfect Love. Through this painting, I wanted everyone to understand and realize that there is no one out there who can or will love you or care for you more than the Lord. I wished that all, especially the ladies out there who are having a tough time, know that God will lift you up in His time. He is taming us to be stronger than ever. He has loved us with a perfect love.

On the day of the exhibition, I felt a sense of peace and accomplishment. But my joy multiplied, when one young girl walked up to me and told me that she could relate to the painting as she had gone through a similar rough experience. The Lord had used my art to speak to another soul, He had used my brokenness to lift another soul. I was overwhelmed with his perfect love again that day, and He still continues to surprise me each day!
