It is with immense joy and gratitude to God that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the editorial team, contributors, readers, and the entire Jesus Youth movement on the publication of the 100th issue of Kairos Global.

Reaching this significant milestone is not merely a numerical achievement; it is a time to celebrate Jesus! It is a testimony to a sustained commitment to evangelisation, formation, and the promotion of Gospel values through the powerful ministry of communication. Over the years, Kairos Global has emerged as a beacon of hope and inspiration for countless young people and families across the world, helping them encounter Christ and engage meaningfully with the challenges of contemporary life. 

In a world increasingly shaped by information overload, polarisation, and the rapid spread of misinformation, value-based publications are more important than ever. They help form consciences, nurture critical thinking, promote authentic human values, and inspire readers to seek truth, goodness, beauty, and justice. Such publications contribute not only to the growth of faith communities but also to the building of a more compassionate and humane society.

The recognition that Kairos Global has received as an award-winning magazine in the field of prayer and spirituality is a fitting acknowledgment of its excellence. Its international acclaim reflects a remarkable combination of editorial professionalism, creative presentation, clarity of communication, and profound spiritual depth. Through thoughtful articles, inspiring testimonies, engaging reflections, and faithful proclamation of the Gospel, the magazine has successfully connected faith with life, tradition with innovation, and local experiences with global perspectives.

The mission of Kairos Global is deeply rooted in the mandate of the Risen Lord: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19), teaching, healing, and proclaiming the Good News to every creature. Alongside this missionary command comes Christ’s enduring promise: And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). It is this assurance of His abiding presence that sustains every authentic apostolate and inspires every missionary endeavour.

In a particular way, the vision embodied by Kairos Global resonates with the recent appeal of Pope Leo XIV in Magnifica Humanitas, where he emphasises the urgent need for conscious efforts to promote value-based communication, authentic human thinking, ethical responsibility, and a culture of encounter in an increasingly technological world. Media initiatives that place the dignity of the human person at the centre of their mission perform an invaluable service to both the Church and society.

As Kairos Global celebrates its 100th issue, I express my profound appreciation to all who have contributed to this remarkable journey – the editors, writers, designers, translators, distributors, benefactors, and readers. Your dedication has enabled this publication to become a channel of grace, formation, and missionary outreach across continents.

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire this important ministry. May Kairos Global remain a prophetic voice of faith, hope, and love; a platform for evangelisation and dialogue; and a source of inspiration for future generations of missionary disciples.
