Intro: Asha introduces us to the mobile app, TwGOD – Tweeting with God.

I wish to bring into the light an interesting application which I have experienced. The Tweeting with God (TwGOD) app. As the name implies, it’s really tweeting with God. The master brain of this idea is Rev Dr Michel Remery M.Sc., a priest of the Diocese of Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He served as assistant priest in several parishes, where he interacted with young people and students, which is where the idea took shape. Together with an enthusiastic team he expanded his idea as a Book (Tweeting with God), a website of the same name and now the idea has been turned to an interesting mobile application.

Their mission is to proclaim and explain the Catholic faith all around the world by answering each and every question raised by the people. On this platform Fr Michel along with his team will answer all the questions related to the Catholic Church and our faith. The interesting part is that there is no limit to the questions. The only rule we need to keep in mind is: although we can ask any sort of questions, do it with respect for other people.

While going through the app, we can see questions and answers about the Bible, Old Testament, Catholic prayers, personal prayers, Holy Mass, Holy Spirit, Eucharistic celebrations, etc. and it goes on beyond the limits. Besides clarifying our queries, the application provides us with many beautiful prayers from the tradition of church, Holy Mass, Daily Bible Texts, etc. While searching for daily Bible texts; the app opens the window to the website of Vatican News. This is very helpful to stay in touch with news of the Catholic Church all over the world and also updates from the Vatican. The app also allows us to scan the picture of each question given in the book and explore extra information, online material, and videos

Tweeting with God is concentrates mostly on the age group of 13-35 years, our vibrant young people. Tweeting with God, we will start experiencing the love of God and help to improve our personal relationship with our loving Shepherd. In short, Tweeting with God is for everyone who wants to deepen their faith.
