Memes are an effective way to communicate an idea or a message with a tinge of humour over the internet. These are created by superimposing the message over an image or a series of images. These images are either illustrated solely for the memes or picked up from popular movies and events. 

Memes are generally used to poke fun at persons, events, ideologies, etc. But these days memes are also used to discredit and ridicule religious faith. Christian faith has become a frequent target of organised meme attacks. Such memes shared on social media platforms target the Christian youth who are in their formative years, leaving them confused. These youngsters become defenceless and vulnerable when their friends with atheistic or other religious convictions methodically confront them with lies about the Christian faith. 

The youth leaders in the movement sees this as an opportunity to educate, empower and equip Christian youth especially Catholics on campuses so that they can defend their faith with courage, charity, and a call to conversion. 

Truthmemes.org is an initiative launched by Kairos Media and Jesus Youth specifically to address this challenge and opportunity. Truth memes website provides a collection of memes that are carefully crafted to answer the common objections and misconceptions about the Catholic faith. Along with each meme, the user also gets to read a brief description of the fact showcased. Links to videos and articles are provided for further study.

These memes are organised into categories and are tagged according to their relevance so that users can quickly find them and share them on social media platforms in response to posts that question Christianity. The description and links for further study are also shared along with the meme when it is shared on a timeline, inviting the audience to dive deeper and gain a fuller understanding of the divine truth.
