When I acknowledged God’s love and chose Him to be my first priority, my life
transformed over the years from a workaholic to a Christ centered life. I
can feel that God is part of every single thing that’s going on in me
and my family’s lives Today I get up each and every day with strength
and determination that I share with others; the same God’s love
that I experience each moment in my life. Praise be to Jesus!!!!

Love is a free gift; freely given and freely received.
I have come across this particular description of love
so many times thatit's engraved in my mind. I have to
be free to choose love and hence it's a
choice. It's a decision too, not merely
a feeling. Hence out of my free choice,
I decide to Love and even when faced
with trials.I started experiencing
anew the grace required to Love
more recently after I became a wife
and mother. Everyday brings new
surprises and challenges and I have
more opportunities to Love. Thus what
started out as an experience of Gods
Love, became a deeper understanding
when I was taught how to Love and
now it has become more of a daily
reality. This lived experience seems far
more enduring than the Love based on
feelings alone.

The awesome and empowering love of God which
I receive a new and fresh everyday (Rom 5:5) through
my prayer and sacramental life, propels me to respond,
to reciprocate to God and to my neighbour.
As the love of the Father and Son love begets the
Holy Spirit, so also the love between my spouse and me
overflows into our children and all whom we meet.
There is a natural motivation to be more loving, kind,
patient and merciful at all times. Obviously, we fall short
on many occasions but Our Lord who is ever faithful
lifts us up and renews our strength to walk again on this
journey of Love.

I used to struggle a lot in this area – to love myself
& others for years until I realized that my calling
primarily is to love, not to be loved. I understood the
key to loving myself & others – not to judge anyone.
It took some years for me to understand this and now
I am at peace with myself & others. The only one who
loves me as I am is God the father and now I am able
to be myself before him without any shame or guilt just
because he doesn’t judge me but loves unconditionally
This conviction enabled me to love myself & others
without being much judgmental.
