Even before I was invited to join the editorial team, I had long been an admirer of Kairos Global magazine, drawn first to its clean visual design and thoughtful layouts, and also to its substance. In a media landscape that often overlooks the young believer, Kairos stands apart as a vibrant, contemporary Catholic magazine that speaks meaningfully to young adults and families alike.

Stepping onto the editorial team changed something in me. I moved from being an appreciative reader to an active witness of what God's grace looks like in the ordinary work of putting a magazine together. Working behind the scenes, I have experienced the Holy Spirit's guidance in the making of every issue. Our editorial meetings, led by Dr Chackochan and coordinated with care by Tania, rarely feel like routine planning sessions. More often, they feel like prayer gatherings, with a tangible sense of the Spirit moving among us, from the first brainstorm of a theme to the final decisions on selection of articles.

Alongside my editorial work, I have also been privileged to contribute as a writer. It has been a fulfilling experience, a space to think, explore, and share across a range of subjects, from the searching questions of philosophy to the reasoned defence of faith in apologetics.

Looking back, what strikes me most is this: Kairos Global is not simply a publication. It is a ministry. The Spirit of God is present in how this magazine is made, and in the way its articles continue to touch and inspire its readers. To be part of a mission that brings together intellect, beauty, and faith is something I am truly grateful for.

George Paul is a freelance UX design consultant with a professional career spanning 25 years, specialising in information design and UI/UX. A graduate in mechanical engineering, before finding his calling in design at IIT Bombay. Alongside his professional work, George has been an active member of the Jesus Youth movement since 1992, serving in both campus and professional ministries. Driven by a deep passion for history, philosophy, and theology, in which he holds a bachelor’s degree, he is dedicated to promoting intellectual Catholicism and guiding others toward the Church’s rich intellectual traditions. In philosophy, his main interests lie in virtue ethics and aesthetics, shaped by the thought of Augustine, Aquinas, Jacques Maritain, Josef Pieper, and Simone Weil.
